Project for the Distribution of Zakat on Wealth in Gaza

As part of our ongoing efforts to support those in need in Gaza, the Manarat Al-Salam Association has implemented a charitable project aimed at distributing cash assistance from Zakat funds to impoverished families and orphans in the Gaza Strip. This initiative comes in response to our humanitarian and religious duty, and out of a keen commitment to delivering Zakat to its rightful beneficiaries. This project takes place in light of the deteriorating economic conditions and rising poverty rates in Gaza caused by the ongoing blockade. Through this endeavor, the association strives to alleviate the living burdens on these afflicted groups and assist them in meeting their essential needs with dignity and freedom. The project was executed through a direct and transparent distribution of financial aid, following a rigorous mechanism that adheres to the Sharia guidelines concerning Zakat al-Mal. This ensures that donations genuinely reach the most deserving recipients, particularly those who have lost their breadwinners or lack any source of income.
